In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
This really isn’t as dramatic a beginning as it appears. ‘In a galaxy far far away…’ or ‘ It was the best of times, it was the worst of times’ are far better. But I suppose one had to start with something, even if it makes very little sense.
